We offer this original poster: THE FREE STREET THEATER IS COMING. The address of the Chicago Lincoln Branch Library follows. This last bit is hand written giving time and place but no date! The library branch moved further up W. Fullerton circa 1990. We estimate this poster dates from circa 1970-80's. The Free Street Theater is located in Chicago, Illinois. It was founded by Goodman School of Drama graduate Patrick Henry in 1969. Its performances focus on contemporary social themes that are meant to bring together different ages, races and socio-economic groups and are free. Poster measures 29 x 22 inches. Several small closed tears along the edge. Back side has what looks like a coffee stain but not affected the front. ​It will be mailed in a sturdy tube, carefully rolled.

Free Street Theater
is located in Chicago, Illinois. It was founded by Goodman School of Drama graduate Patrick Henry in 1969. Its performances focus on contemporary social themes that are meant to bring together different ages, races and socio-economic groups and are free. It has also performed internationally.
This poster measures 29-1/4 x 22 inches. Several small closed tears along the edge. Back side has what looks like a coffee stain but has not affected the front. Light toning, minor soiling. This poster was used. Please see our photos for more details. Double click on the images to enlarge them.
