This leveling sensor is designed specially for Ender3/CR-10/CR-10S Creality 3D Printers
Normally Open Proximity sensor for bed auto leveling
Fits for CREALITY Ender3, CR-10, CR-10S 4S S5 3D Printer.
Works with the stock glass bed (3.5mm thickness glass,
no more than 4.5mm triggering range
)
Compatible with Marlin 1.1.9 and THD U1.R2 firmware
External isolated 12V power
Isolated circuit box is updated as 12/20/2018. It was a black box without lights prior to 12/20/2018.
When power is provided, the
isolated circuit box will show green light. When the sensor is triggered, the
isolated circuit box will show yellow light, as shown in the pictures. Please always use M119 to verify the status of the endstops.
No more than 12v should be provided.
If you have a Ender3 or a CR-10, you might want to consider using THD firmware instead, because Marlin is too big to fit in Sanguino board. Even it fits, it might not be stable enough. The sensor is a Normally-Open sensor, so it is fully compatible with TH3D ABL kit.
Please plug the sensor to where marked as sensor, and the z-endstop connector coming from the control box should plug to where marked as z-stop.
For original CR-10 and Ender3 boards, you might need to install the bootloader first. To install the bootloader, you will need a USBASP, which can be found
here

For CR-10S (S4 and S5), you might need to swap 2 pins on z-endstop connector(3-pin JST 2.54 connector).

This item will be mailed out via first class mail for domestic orders. I process all orders within one business day. I am located above 1/2 miles from a small post office(opens only Monday to Friday). Most of packages are dropped off at the Post Office every morning around 8AM Monday to Friday. In some case, not always, I make another trip to Post Office around 3PM.
